Happy Monday everyone and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great start to 2012 and if you’re like me, feeling refreshed and inspired well how about a new sketch to get your creative juices flowing?

I wanted to go minimal on this sketch because I’m thinking of all my minimalist or simple scrappy friends out there. And here’s my take on the sketch….

 Cousins

This page featured products in the Paper Bakery January Add On kit. Lots of fun stuff in that pack and I used the open space to create some masking technique using canvas stars and the mist that comes in the package.

I used a single photo (one of my fave ones from our summer with my sister and her family) and added this paper that housed some buttons in the kit. I used the initials of my son and nephew along with a couple of buttons.

I also layered some circle accents, more stars and buttons and the cute sewing tag. There’s so many fun accents/embellishments in the kit that it was hard to play with them all.

So that’s it…if you’ve been lurking around and have been thinking of joining but haven’t had the time or inspiration to do so, I hope this sketch will do it for you.

Here’s a few more details…..

**Make a page or project based on the sketch above. Be Creative!
**Challenge participants are not required to utilize the kit, but it is encouraged.
**Challenges is for 2 weeks.

**Winners will be chosen a couple days after the challenge ends and Sketch challenge winners will receive a small prize package or gift certificate to the Paper Bakery store.

Your layout based on the sketch are due on Sunday (January 15th).

Catch you guys later,

Grace
