It’s not too often that I have pictures of my oldest son, but I just happened to catch him with my phone camera on his last birthday!  I uploaded the picture to Instagram and did some editing to it there.  I was then able to save to my computer and print.  I love the cool effects that you can find at places like PicMonkey and Instagram…even if a photo is a little wonky, it can easily be dressed up with a few filters.

I trimmed the photo down so that it was the same height as the journaling card and the same width as the die-cut title.  I used the brown ink pad to color a piece of zig-zag chipboard that I had in my stash.

Lots of different layers and levels of layers created with foam tape.  I love the little addition of sparkle created by the sequins at the sides of the two pennant tags.
