Before I share my first creation with the March kits with you, I wanted to share some really fun news with you:

This is going to be one rockin’ week so make sure you come back for all sorts of yummy inspiration and the reveal of an amazing mash up product!

I will not go as far as to say this girl is my favorite, but she is definitely one of six :) and when I asked her recently of her favorite thing to do with Mommy she sat right up and said, “You know Mommy, that I Love You game.” I knew exactly what she meant and it warmed my heart that she enjoyed the I love you more game…. or should I say “competition”. She and I do share some very special moments and this page is so special to me as it gets that down, so I will not forget and hopefully she will not either!

and what makes this page so lovely besides that little girl and her story?

I have to say that the March Scrapbook Kit has the most beautiful ribbon and it was paired perfectly with a full package of wood veneer. I loved cutting my ribbon into “arrow” chevron strips and stitching the wooden veneers right over the top on this page.

The cute straws in this kit made me think of all sorts of pretty things, pinwheels and banners and on this page, lollypops. I create a little cluster here with gorgeous The Paper Bakery custom flair and the cutest little circles by Elle’s Studio!  Behind that cluster you might notice that I have used the March Cut File that comes with the purchase of your kit to add a little pop of yellow into my design.

I also had fun adding a little cluster to the top of my page, using a doilie from last month’s scrapbook kit, some of the fun Elle’s Studio cut aparts, the fun letter stickers in the kit and some more of that gorgeous custom flair! Yummy, huh?

Have a lovely day!
