How are you enjoying the August Hello You Scrapbook Kit from Paper Bakery? If you are looking for some inspiration for this fabulous kit, then you have come to the right place! The Paper Bakery blog is full of endless inspiration, 7 days a week. Today, I hope to inspire you with a few simple tips that you can use on your next scrapbooking project.
The layout I created for you today uses one full sheet of patterned paper and a scrap of paper from another piece of patterned paper. I freestyle cut around the words that were part of the American Crafts patterned paper and used them as part of my title which reads “Happiness Is Blowing Bubbles” and/or “There’s Nothing Like Blowing Bubbles”. This is a quick and easy way to add to letter stickers or to create your entire title.
The other tip I have to share with you is to use punches to repeat patterns that you see in your patterned papers on a larger scale and then use them to create other embellishment or design on your layout. In this case, I loved the small circles within circles on the background paper I used by Pretty Little Studio. I then used various circle punches ranging in size form 1 3/8″ to 1/2″ to punch circles from several colors of cardstock that come in the August Hello you Cardstock Add On.
Last but not least, did you notice the super cool flair I used on my layout? They are part of a new EXCLUSIVE Paper Bakery Flair Set called Oh Yeah! that you can find in the Paper Bakery Shop.
