Are you ready for another Paper Bakery sketch challenge? I sure hope so! This week’s sketch has room for 3 photos if you choose and lots of fun strips and triangles that would allow you to mix and match different patterns of paper from the fabulous September Kit Art Fair! I was inspired to create this sketch from the Glitz Design Wild & Free sticker sheet that is part of the Scrapbook Kit. I even used them on my own layout!
This is my take on the sketch. As always, I switched it up a bit and added some larger blocks of patterned paper behind the strips on the sketch. Another change I made was to use only only photo instead of the three shown. I had fun adding lots of strips though with some of the patterned papers and even some washi tape from the Paper Bakery store!
I really enjoyed creating this little cluster of embellishments using some Glitz Design stickers, buttons and flair form the kit. I also mixed in some flair from the You’ve Been Geotagged and the PLS Sandcastle set, that super cool feather charm from the shop and some left over ribbon from the August Scrapbook Kit.
Here is a close up of the triangle border and how I used some more of the stickers from the Glitz Design sticker sheet. I hope you enjoyed my take on the sketch and I am looking forward to seeing how it inspires you!!!
Here are the details you need to know to play along with us using the sketch challenge:
1.) We will have a new Sketch Challenge every two weeks. Play along for your chance to win a $10 coupon to the Paper Bakery Shop.
2.) Make a layout or project inspired by the sketch. Be creative and have fun! We would love to see what you create using a Paper Bakery kit however, using a kit is not required for you to play along.
3.) Take a picture and link it up on the sidebar of the Paper Bakery blog using the INLINKZ widget by the due date October 5.
I hope you are inspired by this sketch and will play along with us! I am looking forward to seeing what you create and share!!!
